About Kate Savitch
Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Kate’s passion for design translated into a career with her first job out of college, designing decor, planning and coordinating high-end corporate and social events in Southern California. She soon segued into all things real estate working to develop management and marketing strategies for some of the top builders and real estate agents in California and the Seattle area.
After building a custom home with her husband, Kate honed her design skills at a local design firm for nearly a decade working on projects ranging in size from small interior refreshes to large custom builds. Wanting more control of her designs and over all client satisfaction, she opened Kate Savitch Designs in 2021.
A Washington State native, Kate lives in downtown Kirkland with her business executive husband Keith, and their three sons. When not building sandcastles or train tracks with her boys, Kate can be found entertaining her large Seattle area family, reading a good book or searching for the perfect glass of cabernet.

Whether you’re in the Seattle area or on the East Coast, Kate Savitch Design will provide you with an easy-to-follow design plan, including floor plan layout, and a shopping list that is tailored to your specific space and your budget. If your space does not require construction, you work well via email and like to purchase online, this is the service for you!
